Ambre Hammond is an internationally acclaimed musician and has performed both solo and with orchestra throughout Switzerland, Italy, England, Spain, Poland, North and South America, New Zealand, China, Russia and Japan.
Ambre achieved a world record receiving both her Associate and Licentaite Diplomas in the same year at the age of 11.
In 2007 the legendary Hollywood film composer Lalo Schifrin composed a Double Concerto for Classical Piano and Jazz Trumpet especially for Ambre and famed Australian jazz multi-instrumentalist James Morrison.
Ambre is the founder of Girl Piano Truck - a humanitarian project in which Ambre takes a piano in a truck and travels to remote and highly disadvantaged regions of the world giving free concerts in schools, orphanages and community centres. Since 2012, Ambre has taken the project to India, East Timor, Thailand, Belarus, The Phillipines and Africa (Tanzania).
This project earned her a nomination for Australian of the year in 2016.
Ambre is a regular public speaker and has spoken for more than 400 clubs around Australia since 2012.
Ambre is a composer with 2 albums of original compositions released (Akasha 2016 and Night Flowers 2017).
The Elite Piano School was officially launched in Circular Quay on November 29 and offers high level tuition in classical piano.
